Mandvi is a striking town with lots of old constructions. Mandvi’s devouring yard is truly worth visiting for its heritage of shipbuilding center. It is probable to see these oceanic crafts being handcrafted using conventional apparatus at the rivulet in the town. The beach has some historical background too. It is believed that after Dwarka; Lord Krishna’s capital was submerged into the sea, his descendent Jadejas ruled over Kutch. The nearest airport to Mandvi is Bhuj, which is 60kms away from the beach. The beach is well connected by road and the nearest railway station is Bhuj and Gandhidham.

Mandvi has some a/c Luxurious tents built behind the bushes, which protects them from strong breezes that blow over Mandvi. The semi-restaurant serves good and variety of food.

What do I carry?
Do carry some extra cash, as Gujarat is the best place for textile and food. If you are gourmet than Gujarat is heaven for you. There is no point carrying beachwear to this beach because swimming is not allowed.
