Anyone who loves the sea and marine life must certainly try and go scuba diving at least once in their lives. There are plenty of places one can go diving at. Among these, the Andaman Islands are very famous. But there is an option that is more accessible, and that option is Goa!

There are some great diving spots off the main coast of Goa such as Grande Island and Sao Jorge Island. Grande Island, especially, has some great dive sites, such as Suzy’s Wreck, which is a 130-meter metal cargo shipwreck. The marine life there is also breathtaking and awesome. Although the visibility in Goan waters is not that great, one can expect to find a thriving marine life very similar to what is found in the Maldives. One will find everything from Bottlenose Dolphins and Reef Tip Sharks to Barracudas and Sting Rays.
