Prainha Restaurant
Prainha was established in 1963, as a small whitewashed summer cottage and now has evolved into a fully fledged resort with elegant and well appointed 45 rooms. This place is set in a tranquil palm grove on the beachfronts. Prainha means “Little Beach” in Portuguese. It is a charming 45-room resort in Dona Paula-Goa (Dona Paula is on a peninsula between two rivers, a small harbor and a pier.) that offers all kinds of modern amenities coupled with a delightful ambience to look for.
Prainha offers alfresco dining amenities at its on-site restaurant, known as The Palm Grove. The restaurant offers Chinese, Indian and Goan dishes. This place is open round the year. Their signature dishes are Chicken Manchurian, Mutton Rogan Josh, Chicken Cafreal, Grilled Lobster and Pomfret Reicheado. The seating arrangements are on the lush green lawns at the Dona Paula Cove and are very comfortable. Dining alfresco, under the palm trees is a very memorable experience. They also serve some regional and continental dishes made to order. The bar, Harbor Lights, offers a rich variety of alcoholic and none-alcoholic beverages to the guests. Prainha has easy access to the historical quarters of Fountainhas, and the city centre which is just a few minutes away.
