Mirabai’s Goan Village
Mirabai’s Goan Village restaurant is on the Baga stretch in Calangute, which offers authentic Goan, Chinese and North Indian dishes for lunch and dinner. This place is open during tourists’ season only. Though the restaurant was recently opened four months ago, it has already attained a household name in that area and is known for offering genuine Goan dishes. One can lounge around on the beach with drink and enjoy the Rajasthani fold dances, which are a treat to watch. Mirabai’s Goan Village is quite widely known with the foreign tourists. One must try their Goan Pork dishes, all vindaloos and xhacuti. It brings an ethnic touch by offering food in clay pots and cooked in open kitchen. This gives the impression of a beach party which is enjoyed by all guests. Their bar menu is also impressive with local stuff to the more expensive foreign liquor.
