Lila Café
Near Baga River in Bardez, Goa, there lies a restaurant serving the most imaginative healthy food - Lila Café. The breakfast or the lunch is legendary. You have to cross the narrow Baga River over the bridge (better known as bomb shelter) to reach little Baga and there stands the restaurant on the banks of the river. This place is only open during the day time. It has thatched roof to give an ethnic look and ambience. This is a seasonal restaurant run by a German couple. The menu at Lila Café includes freshly baked croissants, home made cheese, and a choice of salads apart from the home-made bakery products. Try bagels, rolls, salad with olive oil, soups, cheese spaetzle, spaghetti, Farmer’s breakfast, Goulash, fillet steaks, Pan-fried Chicken, Omelete’s and muesli, which are as authentic as they can get.
