Camp 69
When you visit Morjim beach in North Goa, right across this beach is an ensemble of log cabins, known as Camp 69. This is an out of the ordinary looking restaurant, which sports the look of an army camp. In this camp is the restaurant which is the high point with an open kind of set up. They serve Goan and Continental dishes that are not only very tasty but also very sumptuous. Their specialty is that you can request for any dish that is not written in the menu, the chef will be glad to prepare it for you the way you want. This makes the restaurant immensely popular. Their Seafood Platter is a sumptuous mix of generous portions of sea food. They have a bar with almost everything you can ask for. Try their Oyster in White sauce, perhaps one of the best in Goa. Butter Chicken is another of their specialty. The evenings are pleasant with good soft music and classic numbers. This place is ably run by Bosco, a Goan. The staff is also Goan and they are very trustworthy and friendly. Camp 69 also help its guests with directions to engage tourist bikes to move around. While you are swimming, you do not have to worry about your valuables, which you can safe keep in their lockers.
