Bogmalo Beach - Goa

Where ?
Bogmalo Beach is about 18 kms away from the Dabolim International Airport. It is located 8 kms to the north-west of Vasco da Gama.

Why Bogmalo Beach ?
If you love scuba diving, then Bogmalo is the perfect place for you. This beach in Goa is famous with diving enthusiasts. There’s the famous Oberoi Hotel nearby which is known for its luxury and facilities. There are some good beach shacks and restaurants nearby where you can just chill out and enjoy the sea.

What else ?
Nearby the beach is the Naval Aviation Museum. The museum showcases some old aircrafts
of the Indian Navy. There’s also a Jet flight simulator which attracts a lot of visitors. For the novice divers there’s a new dive school that offers short term diving courses. Also at Joet’s Guesthouse a British firm provides guided dive tours of the nearby shipwrecks and coral reefs to amateurs.

How do I get there ?
Bogmalo is easily reachable by bus from Vasco da Gama, Panaji and Margao. Taxis, auto rickshaws and motorbikes are also easily available.

Where do I stay ?
It can be difficult to just check into any hotel or guesthouse in Bogmalo without prior booking. Hence it is better to make arrangements beforehand. The Bogmalo Beach Park Plaza, Coconut Tree, Tulip Star Bogmalo Beach Resort are some good places to stay.
