Agonda Beach - Goa

Where?
The solitary beach of Agonda is situated at a distance of around 12 Kms to the south of Cabo de Rama in Goa.

Calm and Solitary, the Agonda Beach offers you a 3km long stretch of sand, with barely a few tourists on it! What else?
Agonda doesn't offer much on the activities front, as there are very few facilities available on the beach. Even swimming deep into the water is not advisable at Agonda! However it is the ideal place if taking walks, and unwinding are top on your list. One could even hire a tent and have a camp fire at night.

How do I get there?
Travelling to Agonda can be quite cumbersome as there are no direct transport facilities available to reach the beach. The best mode of transport would be to hire a taxi, auto rickshaw or a motorbike from Cabo de Rama, Chauri or Margao to get there.

Where do I stay?
Accommodation is easily found in Agonda beach with nearby guest houses offering affordable accommodation to visitors. If you are planning to just stay for the night, then hiring a tent would be advisable.

What do I carry?
Since the beach is quite solitary and far away from the main road, do carry all the essential and necessary items needed for your stay on the beach!
